Sami Al-Safran is named “Best Arab CEO in the Paper Industry”
The Arab Best Awards were attended by industry leaders, CEOs and VIPs of the Arab world.
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 20th of March 2019: The Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO), the region’s leading paper manufacturer, has been named ‘Best Arab Paper Company’ at the 3rd Arab Best Awards in Paris, France. The award was given in recognition of MEPCO’s role in enhancing the global position of the Arab paper industry. CEO of MEPCO, Eng. Sami Al-Safran, was also named ‘Best Arab CEO in the Paper Industry’. The awards follow the success of the Company’s ongoing efforts to promote the important role of the paper industry in the region.
Led by Eng. Al-Safran, MEPCO has achieved significant milestones including the alignment of its business activities and CSR programmes with Saudi Vision 2030, and significantly improving productivity and profitability while driving the company’s sustainable growth.
